Trying to catch up!!!

 For our Smith Family Reunion this year, We all met at the quilting center out in Paradise to donate some of out time, and sweet skills. We finished to quilts, and made a bunch of balls, and stuffed bunnies.  It is always so much fun getting together with all of us!

 Grandma White took Carter to see all the Gingerbread houses in Logan. I sent him along with the Camera!! He loved the one that looked like the temple!!

 My mom takes us all to Salt Lake for her Christmas present to us. We all love going down there. This year we left a little earlier than everyone else, and stopped by Cabela's, and IKEA! 

(Madi and Carter thought the drop off in the parking lot was pretty cool!)

 We let the kids have a few tries on the shooting game! Carter shot the skunk and it squirt him!

We all met back at the hotel for some swimming, and pizza. (pictures to come!) 

The following morning we ate breakfast, swam some more, and played some killer minute to win it games. Then headed across the street to the Grand America hotel to find the stars in the cute window displays. There is were this last picture was taken. It was over 4 hundred pounds of Gingerbread. Then we all headed to Chuck a Rama to stuff our faces!!! The company is always great when we are together as a family! We sure missed Landon being there this year! We will be able to skyp with him on Christmas!!! We all cant wait!

Catching up on my Crazy life!

 Carter literally had the time of his life. I would call every evening.. and he would just grab the phone, say I love you and run off, to have more fun! Looks like it caught up to him!

 Jason's Cousin Brian brought his son Cade up to join in the fun! Cade and Carter always have so much fun when they get together!

 This is one of my favorite pictures! Carter and Grandpa Paul have such a great relationship! I cant thank Paul enough for being such an amazing Grandpa, Father, and Father-in-law!

Gavin was so excited to see them when the finally returned home! He didnt have time to put his pants on before he was out the door helping them unpack!

KINDERGARTEN!

Where in the heck did my baby go? I cried... Still crying. I seriously wanted to get in my car, and follow that bus until it got to the school, then sit with Jason's scope and watch him all afternoon. I know Im creepy! I knew this day would be hard for me. But I am so proud of the little(big) man Carter has grown into. He is the most caring, happy, lovable, silly, crazy kid I know. Gavin and I are sure going to miss him in the afternoons. Its already too quiet around here.

 Carter took swimming lessons this year from Deb Hammond. She always does such a great job. She was also so patient with Carter.... He honestly looks like he is fighting with the water when he tries to swim. He kicks like he is riding a bike.... lol its the darndest thing!

 But he enjoyed every minute of it. Playtime was his FAVORITE!

Summer days

 Madi and Gavin have the cutest relationship. He absolutely adores her. I thought this was a precious picture! Thanks for loving my kids Madi!

 Watching a movie as a family Saturday night. I guess I was the only one that thought it was a good show! I looked around and this is what I found!

PUDDING FIGHT!!!!

 Everyone was having fun except for Gavin. Who woulda thunk??? lol at one point in time Sydnee had the most on her, but after the bowls ran out, they Kept stilling it off her body! It was some good laughs, and I hope we made some memories.

 Gavin trying to avoid getting anymore putting on him. He kept wanting me to hold him... Thats when we threw him in the shower. I thought he would like it. Cause he loves chocolate pudding!

 There is nothing that Carter does that he doesn't put his ALL into. Of coarse he had to get the messiest by the time it was all over! Even if it ment stilling it from the bodies of the other kids.

 Cute Brooklynn. She was so excited to finally have the pudding fight that we have been talking about having all summer. I hope she had fun!

I didnt think that Sydnee would like it. But she ran around screaming and laughing. she even threw a few handfuls at others. She sure was a mess to clean up though!

Now that i have them all showered and cleaned up.... They will have to wait till next year to do that again!

 I got this cute Idea from another Blog..Design Dazzle its apart of their summer camp items. It was so fun, and so easy! they turned out really cute! We made butterflies, stars, feet, bones, flowers, hearts, and footballs. The kids loved the ending result!

 They ran out and hung them in the tree's this morning! Bring on the Birds!

I made a bubble bath for the Kids last night.. they are obsessed with BUBBLES. they sure had a lot of fun! (i wish i could figure out how to photo shop this photo. But we are all friends here, RIGHT?)

 Then we had a sparrow hawk fall from its nest from our top rafter on our house. And Brooklynn (my daycare girl) being the sweet girl that she is, needed to make a new home for it out of boxes. Mutli-level home... (SERIOUSLY?) The cardboard was too hard for her to cut, so that's where the last 3 hours of my day went. Not mentioning trying to catch the dang thing. It scares me!!!

And the highlight of my wonderful Wednesday, I forgot I left the sink running, and filling up to do the dishes, I went into the other room to help Carter and Brooklynn set up the Wii. Gavin kept yelling " Mom Mhere, Bubbles" (Mhere means come here)

go back into the kitchen to find him happily playing in the bubbles, and over flowing sink... The other two just had to join in. 

(Don't pay attention to the messy kitchen..... Remember, I was doing the dishes;)

This summer has been a fun one with all the daycare kids. We have made ourselves quite the routine during the weeks... Monday, we just kind of relax from the weekends. Tuesday we head to the park on Tuesdays with a picnic. Wednesdays we would head to the school lunches and to the library. Thursdays we try and play in the water. Slip and slide at my moms, jump on the tramp with the sprinklers, or hit up the splash pad.
